Pete,

Thank you so much for posting these pics. My A2 developed some fungus growth at the rear of the front lens element and though it didn't seem to affect the picture quality, it has been bothering me for the past six months. I took inspiration (& courage) from you and opened the front of the lens last night, removed the element, cleaned it nicely and fixed it back in. All the fungus is gone... and I will check regularly to see if it reoccurs.

Thanks again for an amazing collection of information regarding the Minolta Dimage cameras.
