Sweat Bee on Wedelia (Thank you, Carmen)


It is so wonderful, camera in hand, to see the world
as with the eyes of a child. It is amazing what is
there....in the past I walked on by. Thanks to my
grandchildren and my photography hobby, now I see!

beautiful photo and I agree with the sentiment. A friend of mine asked me if I think I am missing out on life because I am so busy photographing it. I am so clear on the fact that I am seeing so much more of life since picking up this camera several years ago. I see things I never knew existed and I see details that make the mundane so much richer. I see from your galleries that you too marvel in the details.

Ah, I am so jealous. I chased one of these beautiful (I think it's a sweat bee) creatures all spring, and never got a shot quite like this. Congrats. And I agree, with the evolution of perspective.

Fist of all.. beautiful macro here. and lovely colors. Secondly, I agree wholeheartedly. I picked up this camera 1 1/2 years ago but even last summer I didn't look at things the way I do now. I'm amazed and in awe of what is around me. Better late then never, huh?
