Admiralty Head Lighthouse as seen from the deck of the ferry Salish. I found a nice spot in the lee of the pilot house to catch this scene while crossing to the peninsula.

What a great view of this interesting coastline and lighthouse. I agree, it looks like the land has been sheared off.

wise to get out of the wind for the shot, and the payoff was a wonderful photo...the near side of the land looks sheared off..
