The Imperial Council Hall on the northwest side of the Second Courtyard in the Topkapi Palace.
In the back the is Imperial Council Chamber (Kubbealtı) was where the Grand Vizier (equivalent to a prime minister) met 4 times a week with ministers to discuss state affairs. Above the seat of the Grand Vizier is the Golden Window through which the sultan might listen in.
In the foreground is the divan chamber where ministers waited for the arrival of the Grand Vizier.
