During our trip to Greece, I have never seen any lone policeman. They are deployed usually in groups of 3 to 5. From their relax demeanor, this area is not high in crime that police dare not venture in alone. Hiring multiple government employees to do the job of one probably contributes to the financial crisis of the Greek government.
