Built for Charles Chapman, a businessman and Fullerton’s first mayor, it was designed by Eugene Durfee in the Chicago School style. When completed in 1923, this five stories structure was the tallest building in Orange County.
This is the stairwell on its east side. Two elevators and this stair provide access to its upper floors which are rented out as professional offices.
