The Ponte Vittoria bridge was named for the WWI Battle of Vittorio Veneto over the Austro-Hungarian Empire, which felt apart after massive loss in this battle in Oct-Nov 1918.
Behind the bridge in the center left is the 1447 San Giorgio in Braida Church with a 16th century dome designed by Michele Sanmicheli.
Sanmicheli also designed the bell tower of the Verona Cathedral on the right.
