The Royal Palace of Milan is now used as a cultural center
In the square in front is the sculpture "Winter" by American artist Philip Haas. This work is modeled after 16th century Italian court painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo best known for his imaginative portrait heads made of plants. The original 1573 painting is in the Louvre.
