I am extremely pleased to have been able to get a pix of this bird. A precious pearl of a few mountains in the North of Thailand. Hunted by villagers for its meat. Still manages to survive but hard to find. I spotted a couple crossing the road early in the morning. Proceeded to drive the car as fast as possible to 'surprise' the birds. This one remained by the roadside long enough for a few images. This was a real added bonus for my 3 days at Doi Angkhang.
