Venus and Jupiter put on a nice show, but Mercury was not able to be picked up by the naked eye.
The rectangular objects in the above image are Central Arizona Project recharge reservoirs, where water from the
Colorado River is taken from near Lake Havasu, AZ and transferred via canals more than 300 miles to Tucson. The
water is then allowed to percolate into the water table from which the surrounding metropolitan areas derive their water.
