Lunar Eclipse

Tucson, AZ

The Moon was in the constellation of Virgo during this particular eclipse.
Spica is the brightest star off to the right of this image and h Virginis is
the brighter star just above and slightly to the left of the Moon center.

I was goofy and stayed up for the entire eclipse, taking some time lapse shots
to (hopefully) cover the eclipse from start to finish (all roughly 5.5 hours of it).

This turned out great. I'm looking forward to your other shots. Thanks for IDing the star upper left. I caught that one in my photo, too, but couldn't readily identify. I was goofy too, but I have limited success with night shots. But I really enjoyed the eclipse. The sky was beautiful last night here.
