Messier 38

Cully, Suisse

C'est l'un des trois amas stellaires remarquables de la Constellation
du Cocher (Auriga), avec M 36 et M 37. M 38 est aussi l'un des plus
anciens amas. Il compte environ 120 étoiles.
On distingue une sorte de croix oblique en son centre.
A gauche se trouve l'amas ouvert NGC 1907.
