Howdy. Here are my directories for various Southwest trips I have taken in the last ten years. I continue to take trips into the Southwest region and I will be updating these pages on a regular basis.

These Southwest images primarily represent Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico (the classic four corners Southwest area). I have also included Southern California and Southern Nevada desert areas as well. In other words, I cover the desert regions of the Colorado Plateau, the Sonoran Desert, and the Mojave Desert as well as arid areas close but outside of their boundaries. These images not only display the natural landscape of the Southwest but also the human presence. The Native American presence can be seen primarily by way of ruins and rock art. A more recent American presence can be seen in places like Bodie and Tombstone. The American Southwest has not only some of the most interesting landscapes in the world but also some of the best light in the world. The desert can be a surprisingly colorful place and the light that plays over desert sandstone can produce fantastic results.
