Compulite Wizard

Compulite/ TTI Wizard -first computer console I ever programmed in college. I love how the keypads / subs are completely reversed on the Wizard vs every other console ever made- more southpaws in Israel? I think this is the second generation- the ones I used definately used 5/1/2" inch disks.

The Mirren Studio at The Towngate Theatre had an early one of these. It was the first lighting console I ever used. It would randomly cut out and needed a punch on the fader board to bring it back to life. It was an ornery bitch, but I absolutely loved it.

I programmed on one in undergrad in the US... simple yet effective. It died in the middle of one of my shows....

I recall programming one of these (still in working condition) some 5 years ago. There are at least 3 (that I know of) old Microns still operating in some small theatres in Israel, since the desk is practically indestructible. As to southpaws, I'm not sure if there are more than in other countries, but you should keep in mind that Hebrew is written from right to left.
