I went there again today, and it seems they have made "good progress" in the week since this was taken. As far as I can see (difficult between all the barges sitting around for no apparent reason) only some stumps are left.
Rather typically, it's almost impossible to get a photographic angle into the work site, even though it's in the harbour. Of course we still have to listen to the pile driver going continuously all day, but if there's an ugly fence around the area (with messages about how wonderful the finished harbourfront will be) then presumably we won't notice all the work going on ...
Personally I'd rather be able to watch the progress more easily. Maybe that's just me, with my fascination for unfinished concrete.
