This is a deep urban canyon without its usual stream of cars at the bottom.

The streets in Wan Chai North are closed whenever there's a fireworks display on the Harbour
(because of the crowds). It's a rare opportunity to stand in the middle of the street and
grab a shot like this without being wiped out by some taxi coming fast around the corner.

The fact that it was gently raining was a nice bonus. (Not everyone agreed with me,
though!) The blue glow comes from a large neon sign on a building just out of sight.

The white spot in the clouds is a reflection (in the lens) of the street lamp.
It would be rather hard to remove it convincingly, given the subtle gradation
of colour and colour noise, so I'm leaving it there.
