We quite like watching people on the street below. It's one of the attractions of eating there. (As it happens, there's nothing much happening on the street in this shot. Oh well.)

Of course, in order to get most of the scene reasonably well exposed, the lights (and signs) are overexposed. If Canon still made compact cameras with RAW, I'd buy one. If another manufacturer can give me RAW, plus image stabilisation of some sort, plus reasonable or better high-ISO performance, I'll immediately change brands! (End of complaint.)
