Texture here, rather than the colour which dominated yesterday's shot.

I couldn't decide in the end whether I liked the colour or the black-and-white version of the same shot better.
The colour version is part of a sequence in the San Fransisco and some mountains - High Country gallery.

B&W is usually moodier and harsh, depending on your intent. I like this one as it made me look closer at the lines, the texture, the details, deeper into the unknown woods.
