We saw the cones to our left, and stopped in a roadside bay before a bridge. Then a bit of a scramble around, photos from under the bridge, all very nice. Afterwards we got back in the car and drove over the bridge, at which point I realised that the view from the bridge was better. So we parked again at the other end of the bridge, and I walked back up to the bridge to get this one.

It actually gave me a lot of trouble afterwards in PP (due to low contrast), so much so that I nearly didn't post it at all. But after making the extra effort to go back for the shot, I was keen to get something worthwhile out of it! As I write this comment, there's a thumbnail of the picture on the screen in front of me, and I can see a processing artifact that I don't like ...
