We went to have a look at Koki-No-Domon, described by my guide book as a "spectacular mossy gorge".
Unfortunately the snow cover on the ground started at the same place as the gorge started (definitely not spectacular where we were) and we found a sign across the way indicating a very clera "no entry", so we went no further. In any case, it was clear that Lilac's shoes weren't up to the job. That's slippery stuff!
