It's pretty good for what it does. The WP-DCxx housings are fairly robust, but they rely on a single O-ring (vs 2 in some of the Olympus housings) so if you make a mistake (eg leave a grain of sand or a hair on the O-ring when you open it up to change the battery) that may be the end of the camera. Assuming you don't make this kind of mistake, the camera inside the housing is pretty easy to use. Unless you plan to do a lot of diving or go past 40m depth, I personally don't think the more expensive housings are justified; and even though I have done about 500 dives with cameras I still prefer the Canon / Olympus housings over Ikelite etc because the Canon/Oly housings are so small and lightweight for travel. I have never had one flood (yet).

how do you like the waterproof case for the powershot? i was condidering buying one for my g6 great shot...
