This knife was designed by the one and only Jody Samson. It originally came with the leather sheath shown in the picture, which has a clip on the reverse side.

I have enjoyed viewing your beautiful collection of knives. I found this by searching for information on a Pacific Cutlery knife that I have had for almost 20 years. It is marked with the Pacific Cutlery and Butterfly (Balisong) logos on the right side of the blade and with a lion's head and the word Samson on the left. The blade is a little over 5 inches and is of course stainless steel. The handle is of black micarta and the whole unit is shaped much like this boot knife, only much heavier. Thanks again for sharing your great photos.
