Obviusly you have practice with this kind of capture. You freeze the ice in every shot.

What I see is a Nice sharp, flash-filled photo, but then again Im just a commercial photographer making my living at images. Love the detail in the frost crystals, never seen frost this bold and big, ours is just white powder like frost

Hi Patricia: Good subject but Inhomogeneous lighting, underexposure, lack of sharpness. The frost should be white, not gray. Don't hand hold at 1/50 Sec. Need camera support or tripod. Flash may help. Narrow aperture to f/16 for better depth of field.
