Dear Michael,
Thank you for your recent private message regarding my pictures of the Rutgers marching band and the issue of tuba vs. sousaphone. I changed my headding and wrote an explanation. Unfortuntely, I erased your original message by mistake or clutsy fingers. I definitely appreciate your comment.

Thank you very much for visiting my Kamehameha Gallery.
Many many years ago I spent a day playing cricket in your neck of Canada. Enjoyed it immensely.
Been noting your sports photos and enjoying them.

Please change the names of Frankie LAKING and Ronny LAKING in the Wally's Waltz photo gallery. They are father and daughter and there last names are both spelled wrong. Wally High was Ronny's oldest and dearest friend and Frankie was his God child, he would have changed it if he was still with us.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your comments on our Split Rock Lighthouse gallery. I notice you have several "Ice is Nice" galleries, so you might enjoy taking a look at two of our other galleries: "Lake Superior Ice" and "Ice Caves". We currently shoot with Nikons, but I have a lot of Minolta lenses from days gone by, so I'm considering picking up a Sony so I can use these old "buddies" once more.

I enjoyed looking at your site and I'll be back.

Larry

Thanks for visiting my galleries. You are correct we have several here in the islands. The swirl of the pipes is a haunting sound one cannot forget.

Many, many, moons ago I visited Kingston Ontario while attending college in Chicago to play a cricket match. I cannot remember much about the trip except the wonderful scenery.
Been back several times to Canada (Montreal, St Catherine - near Niagara, Quebec etc.) only wish it were a tad closer. I've got my sights set on Vancouver in the next couple of years.
Having looked at you galeries, you do first rate work - good luck. Aloha

Hi Mike

You have a wonderful collection of images. Personal fav's are Jen, Queen's A's with the little boy, beautiful grass scenes and great zoo shots. You have a great eye and appreciation of form. Thanks for recognizing the difficulty of photographing fast movement in low light conditions with cheap lens. lol Your comment made my day!!

Mike:

Wow! You make me look good! Thanks for documenting the goings ons at Wally's CD release, but I especially thank you for your help on drums at the reception. Let me know if it's okay for me to post a bulletin with a link to the gallery on myspace. I'm hoping people can't copy your property from pbase.
