The walk from La Vitela to Cuanajo was a favorite of ours when we lived out in Quercus, on the road to Santa Clara de Cobre.
The town itself would not be attractive to visitors if it were not for the many mueblerías (furniture workshops and stores.) We briefly visited Cuanajo during its Fiesta Patronal in September, 2006. This was fun, although the feria was not in full swing yet. There were some irresistible fair foods.
