North Vancouver

Welcome to North Vancouver! This may actually sound confusing to a local or cause a nightmare for an unsuspecting visitor as there are not one, but two North Vancouvers on the North Shore of Burrard Inlet - the City and the District. The City is mostly high-rises lined along centrally located Lonsdale Avenue and adjacent streets, with the historic Lower Lonsdale area and the colourful Lonsdale Quay Market near the Seabus terminal. The District is quite large and stretches from Capilano River in the west to the rocky shores of Indian Arm in the east. So we will correct ourselves and say instead: Welcome to North Vancouvers!
