Christmas at a year old. I believe that gray mouse is still around somewhere.

I remember my father taking me to have these photos shot. It was at a K-Mart in Panama City, Fl. Funny the things you remember. My dad was the coolest. Come to think of it, he still is.

One of my first recitals. Song and dance about a mama fish and a dam is all I remember now.

Not yet in school, so it was another Christmas picture. Yes, that is a mullet. No, I didn't have a choice.

This was taken at my elementary school. We had our very own skating rink. For a girl just moved from Florida this was quite the sight.

Salena is the youngest of two children born to, David Arthur Robinson & his wife, Lois Marie [St. Clair] Robinson. We'd just found out Salena was pregnant. We could not have been happier.

We bought the HP in order to take better pictures of the coming baby.

I clicked on the shutter, just as Mama blinked. She hates this shot.

On our way home from Christmas in Newberry, this river divides the upper peninsula of Michigan, with Wisconsin. Salena Marie stayed dry here, but the next day she felt the need to fall into the Rock River in Illinois.

"The Hospital" where Salena Marie was born, and where she worked when she met her husband. This shot was taken on a visit to Newberry.

Our Christmas present was Salena's healthy pregnancy.

Salena was sick every day with her.

Look how beautiful she looks, even when she's beat tired. This shot was taken just about fifteen minutes before we were comfortable in a warm hotel room.

We'd just crossed the Mississippi River into Iowa on our way home. We still had another 300 miles to ride before we called it a day. Salena Marie thougth we'd be out & right back in the car so she figured she didn't need tp put on her coat. Boy, does she look warm.

Salena was a bit sad not to look more pregnant than she did.

Salena was always in good spirits, even if her stomach was doing flip flops. We were just so excited. Hazelmarie is now thirteen months old, and we're still excited to have her. She's such a blessing.

Those are the eyes I fell in love with. Our daughter has those very same eyes.

So hard for it honey. Salena Marie [Robinson] Mann, saving lives one at a time.

One of the first pictures we took with the new Nikon. Before my daughter, there was nothing so beautiful to me, as my wife, Salena Marie.

Now my sexy prego is starting to have a good time. People would begin to stop her in the grocery store & ask her how she was doing. Well, that was probably after she'd made a beeline to the washroom to get sick, after she'd alked past the fish department.

It was March and we still have our Christmas covers on the pillows sitting on the couch. Yeah, we're right on top of things around here.

Salena began to become weary of her husband constantly snapping shot after shot of her. Here we see her in the grocery store. He couldn't help it, just look at that sexy thing. Yummy.

My wife was starting to thiink I was taking too many pictures of her.

We toured a buried wine cellar in this old bar.

She should have been carrying around a porta-potty aroud by this time. She went to the washroom ten times a day, easy. We'd once again, got a new camera in order to better get good shots of the coming baby.

Salena was finally starting to get big. Now of course, she wished she hadn't have been so unhappy about it. being prego was starting to get in the way of things, like getting in & out of the car with ease.

We're almost there sweetheart.

Eight moonths pregnant & heading to the ballpark.

In less than three weeks, this woman would give birth to her first daughter. She doesn't look it does she? The woman is so wonderfully beautiful, inside & out.

Salena thoroughly enjoyed her first Kansas City flood. Hopefully, she'll enjoy all those that come afterwards, as much as she did her first.

Now Salena was ready to have this kicking little child come out.

This was an interesting picture. Our little studio is fairly narrow, making horizontal takes difficult. We had to squeeze in the three of us without having it look as cramped as it was. After all our efforts I discovered, my tie was askew. I was forced to go into Adobe & completely erase my tie & the shirt. Then I had to "make" one & add it. I also had to add to the green tablecloth with copy & paste, as the original was very skinny. I don't think you can tell, not even when blown up to 8x10. We absolutely couldn't get Hazelmarie to look forward. She refused. So I lugged up a tv from downstairs & she ended up staring at the Kentucky / Tennessee football game while we struggled with the remote shutter button. The clicker is in my left hand. Can't see it can you?

I got the go ahead to post these pictures. This is Isaac's beautiful mama, as she looks during her second month of pregnancy. We didn't know she was pregnant last month or we'd have posted pictures of her then.

Salena Marie poses with her new toy. For Valentine's Day, she got a brand new 12 gauge pump shotgun. Now she can protect her daughter from wanton bad guys & look stylish too.

Isaac's mama is starting to feel a little nausea by now. Our son Everett couldn't take mama eating Italian food. He made her pay for it every time she tried. Hazelmarie did the same thing with Mexican food, one of mama's all time favorites. Ike has decided that Mama shant have any Chinese food what so ever, or up it'll come. No more Kung Pao Chicken until after Halloween.

Isaac's Mama, taking some time after a full shift at the hospital to pose for her little Ike. She's a wonderful wife and a stellar Mama. Who could ask for more? I know I certainly don't deserve her.

The poor woman was so sick to her stomach when these shots were taken. Salena Marie is such a trooper. Noting that Hazelmarie is our freak child, we're now pinning all of our hopes that Ike will be, our "good baby".

Fatigue has set in, but my girl is a trooper.

The woman is simply beautiful. Pregnant or not. I love those two girls so much it's painful sometimes. Just look at her.

As hot as it is outside, my girl is even hotter. Nobody looks as good pregnant as my little girl.

With our daughter, Salena didn't even look pregnant until the eighth month. This time she's feeling it even more. Poor girl, she gets sick at least once a day.

Only a few more months until Issac makes his way into the world, we can't wait.

Mama is feeling very crowded this month. Little Ike-Ike is much larger than his sister, or at least he feels like it to Mama. She's having a great deal of trouble sleeping, walking, eating, sitting ... you name it.

Oh my, Mama is looking so pregnant; so beautiful. My boys is giving his Mama fits though. here she tries to put on a smile as he continues to kick at her. Poor thing. She's a real trooper, my girl.

Our annual picture came wet this year. Mama found a wonderful place for us to have our picture done and it ended up raining on us. Rather than drive all the way home, we toughed it out and took the shots anyway.

I love you this much!!!

"The Girls". Happy birthday Princess. I love you both so very much. Thank you for blessing my life with your smiles, your giggles and your snuggles. Both of you. Vati.

It was starting to rain a little bit when I shot this one. Mama thought it was grand, but Hazelmarie had other ideas.

What a long, strange trip it's been indeed. With two hospital scares, multiple contractions and the stress of just "life" crashing down around her, Mama is remarkably sane. As das Vati of der Mann haus however, I can tell you it's mighty, MIGHTY good to be in the home stretch of this tumultuous journey. Whew. Feels good.

This pregnancy has been harder on Mama than her other two combined. It may be a while before we start down this road again. Then again, just look at our Mama. She's absolutely georgious and we love her so much.

Yes, every bit of the shine has worn off for Hazelmarie. if it isn't about her, she's not at all interested. Oh my, what a surprise she's in for next week.

Mama at 0600 on 28 Oktober 2008, just two and a half hours before she gave birth to our son, Isaac. I can't believe how she gets more beautiful with every child we have. This woman in no uncertain terms, saved my life. She and our children aren't pieces of my life, they ARE my life. I love you so much Princess.

Mama talks to her own Daddy just minutes after giving birth. She was still stoned out of her mind and didn't remember one single thing she'd said, but when she asks to speak with her father, you let her.

Mama meets her boy, Isaac. Using the camera this way was a bit intrusive, but now we have these pictures, forever.

"Hospital Room". Mama's room was pretty cool. We brought pictures from home and the staff brought in a hospital bed for Vati so he wouldn't have to sleep on the couch like he did when Hazelmarie was born.

"Sleeping with Mama". There is a distinct difference between photographers and folks who take pictures. I'm just a guy who likes to take pictures. But this ... this is art, man. This, right here, is what makes the world turn. What love is more pure, more honest, more complete than this?

"The Girls". This shot was taken the night before we all went home. I tried to have Hazelmarie stay the night with all of us, but it was soon clear that she'd have none of it. She had to be taken home and so Mama walked us out.

FINALLY. Hazelmarie and her Vati arrived at the hospital at 0630. Five grueling hours later, the four of us, nurses in tow, walked out the front doors.

"Happy Holidays" Just one more of the many Holiday pictures we took this season.

Five years ago, I was watching the news alone on the computer at my desk, eating frozen TV dinners, & wondering how it was that silence could be so bloody deafening. Look at what I come home to now. It just doesn't get any better than this. I love those three goofballs.

The four of us siblings who grew up together, had not all been together in almost fifteen years. We've always put the "fun" in Dys"fun"ctional. This shot was not my idea. I decidely did not wish to participate, but now that it's done, I guess it came out alright. Just before the shutter clicked off, Karen Sue put her nasty wet finger in my ear. That reaction is all too real. Notice Hazelmarie going nuts? That too, is what they call reality Christmas. Emily, sane as she is, chose not to be a part of this madness.

Happy 4th of July, 2009. Little Isaac was blinded by the sun, and Hazelmarie had her best half smile pasted on. Left to right we see Mama, Salena Marie, holding little Isaac. In the back we see Vati, Richard holding Hazelmarie. Mama made that blanket just for this picture, although, as usual, it will end up on the bed of Her Majesty, Hazelmarie.

Our annual family photograph now includes our boy, Isaac. We took a shot in either August or September of 2007, right after we had Hazelmarie. We took another family photo last September, just before Isaac came, and so now, a family photo in late August or early September has become tradition.

Vom der Familie: MANN. Vati's beard looks like a prirate because he's growing it out for deer hunting. That Northwest Missouri wind bites mighty hard, and any amount of insulation is welcome. Hazelmarie had a blast for this shot but Isaac wasn't too sure.

On the tail end of our Michigan holiday, we took a few minutes to shoot a Family picture on the dock, in Munising. It's really, so pretty up there. The weather is brutal, but it boasts awesome scenery.

Wearing our best Patriotic shirtwear, the Mann Clan pose for their 2010 4th of July Family picture. Isaac was pretty uneasy about having his head shaved. So, Vati shaved his head too, in order to make him feel better. Thing is, Isaac's hair will grow back.

Our last few days of 70 degree temperatures for the year, had us out working the Nikon.

When we left the house for a family photo shoot, it was sunny and warm. By the time we set up, it was raining and cold. Welcome to Missouri.

We celebrated the beginning of 2011 with a Mann family Egg Nog toast. Isaac was very happy giving "Cheers"!

Once again, Hazelmarie took the family shot. We still cannot quite figure out why then, everyone but her, seems happy?
