Challenge 77: Alternative Transportation: Hosted by Zindanfel

"Alternative Transportation" entries should depict--in use--some means of peoples' mobility, from shoe leather to magic carpets, but not anything powered by internal combustion engines, electric motors, or rockets. Allowable exception to the no-motor rule: motor sailboats shown under sail, not power. Also, incidental, background-type appearance of some motor-powered machine is not disqualifying.

Bikes, trikes, strollers, surfboards, skateboards, pogo-sticks, etc., are examples of the wide variety of mobility-assistance topics within the theme, including, e.g., use of canes, walkers, piggy-back riding, firefighter-carry ladder rescues, etc. Please note that rodeo event photographs are not in the spirit of the host's intended theme.

Important: A person/persons or some part of human anatomy must be shown, and be integral to the picture's main subject. Motion blur is encouraged but not mandatory. Both color and B&W are welcome. Be sure to give your photo a title.

The Challenge is open to all members of the Olympus Talk Forum, or the SLR Forum, who joined before the beginning of the challenge period and all photos entered for competition must have been taken with an Olympus digital or DSLR camera. The host has elected to not submit an entry or participate in the voting. Members are limited to one competitive entry per person, but may submit two photos for the exhibition gallery. The exhibition shots can be from any time and any camera.

The usual rules apply, see:
https://pbase.com/otfchallenge/challenge_rules_guidelines .

Ensure your photos are resized to 800 on the long side, and under 200 kb. Send exhibition entries and challenge entries to: dhhein@gmail (dot) com (substitute . for (dot) ) Make certain that "Exhibition Photo" or "Challenge Photo" is in the subject line of your email. Remember to identify yourself by your forum name, and to include your entry's Title. Your entry image must be included in your email as an attachment--not embedded in the message--to ensure that the exif will remain intact.

Challenge will begin Saturday, September 5th, at 10 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time, and end on Sunday, September 20th, at 10 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
