Applications to the Tarina Brooke Knapp Scholarship Foundation are accepted
January 1 through July 31 each year. Open to all citizens around the world on planet earth.
The Foundation seeks to enable qualified individuals, who might not be able to do so otherwise,
develop strengths which enable them to realize their full potential. By doing so, they become more
positive, contributing members of the community. The Foundation seeks to strengthen the capacity
of all people of all ages to meet the challenges of independence and freedom. Applications must be
postmarked no earlier than January 1st and no later than the last day of June. Applications postmarked
later than the last day of July will be opened the next year. The scholarship will be awarded between
August 1 and September 29th of the same year the application is received. A typical application must
include your full given name, current photo, resident address and mailing address if different with phone
number. The name and mailing address of the school you plan to attend with a letter of acceptance from
that school on official school letterhead with a name and phone number for admissions. The school can
be junior college, four year college, fire/police academy training in your community and/or trade school.
The application must include a paragraph stating your goals and why you believe you would be the best
recipient of a scholarship and what you have done so far to prepare for your training in the field you are
going into, i.e. volunteer work and previous schooling. The application must include permission to conduct
a credit background check. The application must be typed, no more than two pages long and signed. The
scholarship may be used for books and writing supplies. If you are selected you will be notified in writing.

importance of quality advance education. 100% of your donation goes to fund scholarships.
