Thank you for putting the Globe photos where the public can see them. I lived there from about age 4 to 9. My Dad worked in the copper mines in nearby Miami. I got to visit Globe in Nov. 1969. This courthouse is beautiful. About RV dumping in Az. - gray water is probably ok to dump it on the desert plants, but the black water has to go to a dumping station. Four of us especially liked the photo of the old, colorful truck. My surrogate son, J. and I were not interested in visiting Florida, but now we are - just Tampa, thanks to your photos and information. J. discovered in Yuma, Az. in about 200I - 2003, that his 1955 tiny travel trailer was too old (RVs over 15 years of age, but not under, are acceptable for renting a lot. Also management wants only renters to be over 55. J. couldn't manage either, so he had to rent a spot in a run down, dirty rv lot, with a mean mgr. until he could find anaffordable studio apt. & stored his rv for about 25.00 a month.
I enjoyed reading all you wrote about places you've been and about Sarah and the 3 dogs. My brothers Rick and Jeff live in Minnesota, but have been to Globe.
