A COUPLE OF THINGS ABOUT THE UNITED NATIONS

April 29. Short backgrounder on the UN. One might even call it a report card.

Public opinion in the US about the UN has largely fallen into two camps. The left favors the UN; the right opposes it.

Each camp thinks the other is ridiculous.

Each camp thinks the other is guided by delusions and ill-will.

Much could be said about the UN, and has been. It is certainly not my intention here to provide a detailed analysis.

But a few facts stick out. The UN was initiated, during the Second World War, by a contingent of members from the Rockefeller-led Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), with the help of US State Department officials. President Roosevelt gave the green light to draft a blueprint.

Some people believe that, even with the dubious sponsorship of the CFR, the original intent was to limit future wars.

So let’s look at the record.

Since 1945, there have been 49 wars (or what are called “armed conflicts”) in Africa.

25 wars in Latin America.

36 wars in South Asia.

14 wars in Europe.

23 wars in the Middle East.

Grand total: 147 wars or armed conflicts.

One would have to have many brain cells missing to call this a good track record.

Yes, I know, it’s easy to say, “Well, if UN policies had been followed, there would have been far fewer wars.” But that’s really like saying, if people everywhere wanted peace, there would have been peace.

The other issue I want to raise is the World Health Organization, a branch of the UN. Despite many of its task force reports about hunger, starvation, contaminated water supplies and their devastating health effects, WHO has basically functioned as a medical group. Which is to say, it has promoted the use of vaccines, drugs, and hospitals, instead of actually doing something to solve those problems which have been causing millions of deaths and debilitations.

In this sense, it is a cutout for depopulation interests. Because all the medical intervention in the world is not one drop in a bucket of starvation and dirty water. The medical façade merely convinces the world that EXACTLY THE WRONG APPROACH will help huge areas of poverty.

If people from the right and the left would look at these situations, they might actually begin to assess the UN in terms of its effects, not its purported ideals.
