Tea at the Five Rathas

Mamallapuram

Anyone who has raomed around the stonecarvers of the Five Rathas must have stumbled in to this tea stall. For more the fifteen years he runs this small business with a soft smile and galant respect for all. You feel yourself at home.
But once a year the stall is closed.
Then this religious man march all the way from his home to Ayyappa, a worshipping place in the mountains of Kerala only reachable on foot.

Give it a try when you come by.

PS to Charles Mcsween .... "All is not sad in India." ... indeed , on the contrary ....

You noticed the long white beard here ?

Everything you want to know about tea...
