Why do we still call them VIDEO stores when
all they have now are DVDs?

I guess Video is still the V in DVD. They say these stores will soon be things of the past. (Remember when there were phone booths on every corner?) All videos will someday come into the home wirelessly to be played on any number of digital devices.
