I believe that this is a Marine from the TOW detachment. I remember the location and he has a M-16 next to him. He would have a side arm if a Corpsman.

Look lika Navy Corpsman. Marines and Navy were the only ones with the colored US Flag, since we had been detoured from our trip to Beirut with the Multinational Forces.
