I lucked out and found a great tree to camp next to. The tree was very large and shady, it had a beautiful view of the mountains and there was a huge open space underneath it where I could kick back and stay cool from the desert heat. I had been working on a writing project during this time, and like the mountains, this particular spot turned out to be quite inspirational for writing.
