I'm with all others.

Thanks for all the kind comments. Some days I fool myself into thinking I'm starting to understand photography, but then Nah! I know better.

Not only is time passing as they sit here, but it has passed for many decades in the old man's history. The younger women next to him have yet to understand mortality as he undoubtedly does. Time, for them, has been of much briefer duration. Makes for an effective juxtaposition.

I really like the dual levels on which this shot is operating. It's very thought-provoking.

I really enjoy this shot. The colors, the people, the composition - everything just works.

Great shot, there is also tension in how stangers always find their own space, the girl in the middle couldn't get further to the end of the bench! The expression on the old fella's face is perfect, everything says time is passing slowly while they wait.

The youth and the aged both experiencing the same moment in time. The restlessness you can see from the gal and the patience from gramps. Great setting Steffan.

Thanks, Brent and Shirley. The 12mm version shows a wall cluttered with colorful posters, but the sparseness of this view appeals more to me. I'm glad you like it too.
PS: I love this 12-60 lens!

I loved this one the first I saw it too. I love the take on the theme, very creative and right on!

There you go Stefan! Excellent portrayal of the theme and a great comp to boot! I like the slight leaning of the wall towards the people it gives the picture a sense of tension. brent
