Thank you all. I had gone out with the intention of catching the confusion of Christmas shoppers, all rushing around with no true direction, so I grabbed a coffee, and sat on a bench opposite this alley (chain st) set the shutter so that it would return the blurred images, rested the camera on my knee pointing in the general direction, and waited. I took about six frames when the mother and daughter stopped in the sun to drink a coffee and watch the street entertainers, the two shots I have posted are from that group, and I have posted the original of this in the originals gallery. Very interesting shot because the perspective is so strange (between the foreground left figure and he central ones) - it really make syou think hard. Flick.
