C17 - 1st - waiting by gmc

no not me - a part of the "Another Place Figures" an artwork by Antony Gormley. When I first came across the figures on the beach - "I didn't get it" having photographed them and also watched the tide come in over them I totaly got it...

Very strong image, I am glad you included the story to go along with it. The clouds, sun and sand work all very well together with the central figure. I would be tempted to see if I could lighten the tops of the waves a bit...
