Funny, I was thinking inkjet cartridge, but I thought there were just too many contacts... must be a tricolor cartridge?

My guess, although maybe totally off, is a neck of a guitar? I love the copper bandsand what seems to be brail on the squares.

Easy to guess the generic, for anyone who's taken apart a printer or other piece of electronics w moving parts, but what piece of equipment? That requires a bit more resarch.
