I know that you have bird pics, down pat,, but you have the diagnonals, or how some call the triangles, in an image,, the more triangles you make in pic, people like it,, because no one wants to be Square,,, :)

I like every detail in this image, specially these strong leading lines and the mountains in the background.

Stefan. This was just focused on the horizon. The Rokinon is not as “Fish Eye” as he Olympus version. You get about a 140 Deg view. When used on the horizon its more like a UUW lens. You just have to be careful with your shadow and feet as not to get them into the picture. I defished but then decided to just leave it alone.

That's a fantastic shot with a fisheye lens, very dramatic. Did you correct distortion or can this be achieved with careful setup on a centered horizon? Just curious ... --Stefan

Two great shots Collin and I can't decide between the two. The sky has almost a 3D effect.

Thanks for looking. We are actually a winter rainfall area. However in early summer we get there storms with the clouds coming in low and fast. Cape Town is know in the early days as the Cape of Good Hope or the Cape of Storms that depended of whether you reached the replenishment station or got shipwrecked. Also described as a baby ‘Either wet or windy.’ LOL. We do get some great light though.

This is a great landscape Collin! Is this the wet season there? Time to replinish all the steams.

The perspective is wonderful! My eye just wants to go on and on and in my imagination, I'm walking back toward those distant mountains. And the sky!

What a great shot.
