it was was taken late in July at eight o clock in the evening so the light level was low enough to use a long exposure with a smaller aperture. the people were in the shade so I also compensated for that and that is why the sunny back ground is over exposed.

I was not playing a motion in the Grand Central station picture, I did not have to change settings much in dim train station,, you have what would be seem a carnival,air,, people moving around, but in bright light, what was the technique in daylight to get motion? I was resting against a ledge in dim light to keep the camera steady
