The Scissor-tailed Flycatcher male looks a little ratty; seen here being mobbed by his brood. The youngsters could not be found over the weekend but we found the male chasing a Kestrel around and then heading to the woods north of the industrial area.
These full blooded Scissor-tail youngsters sure do look different from the hybirds seen on this page.
