St. Michaels Concours d'Elegance -- September 2008 ... Nikon D300

The second annual St. Michaels Concours d'Elegance was held on Sept. 26, 2008, at The Inn at Perry Cabin on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The show featured 50 "Best of the Best" automobiles, many of which had won major awards at other concours such as those in Pebble Beach, Meadow Brook, Amelia Island and Radnor Hunt. By limiting the entries to 50, the organizers ensured that the relatively small field would be made up of 1900-1942 motor cars of the highest quality. The formula worked for the most part, as I hope my photos show.

I used a handheld Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom lens to take the pictures presented in this gallery. All the images are as is, straight from my camera, with no post-processing applied. However, I resized all of them for online viewing. ... AG - this is a great set of images of a great set of cars. I am hoping to get to this one this year, so I really enjoy seeing quality pics of it. ~V~
