Hagley Car Show -- Automobiles from 1903 to 1940, September 2010

I attended my second Hagley Car Show on Sept. 19, 2010. Once again, a great variety of about 500 vintage cars were on display on the show field of the Hagley estate, the ancestral home of the DuPont family in the U.S. and birthplace of the DuPont chemical empire.

This gallery is the second of three that I am sharing on this annual car show in Wilmington, Delaware. It features an array of interesting automobiles from 1903 to 1940.

I shot the photos in this gallery with a handheld Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom. All are as-is straight from the camera, with no post-processing applied, except for four marked BR, CO or ST in their captions, referring to the brightness, contrast and straightening adjustments done to them. All the photos have been resized for online viewing. Note that the images and other content here are protected by copyright laws. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized use, copying, printing or direct linking is prohibited.

THE PICTURES HERE CAN ALSO BE VIEWED AS A SELF-ADVANCING SLIDESHOW, BUT MINUS THE TECHNICAL AND OTHER DETAILS. SEE THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THIS WINDOW. HAPPY VIEWING! <<<
