Hagley Car Show -- Automobiles from 1940s to 1970s, September 2010

I attended my second Hagley Car Show on Sept. 19, 2010. Once again, about 500 vintage cars were on display on the show field of the Hagley estate, the ancestral home of the DuPont family in the U.S. and birthplace of the DuPont chemical empire.

This gallery is the last of three that I am sharing on this annual car show in Wilmington, Delaware. It features a selection of noteworthy automobiles from the 1940s to the 1970s. It is a small and non-representative sampling of the great variety of cars presented for public viewing.

I shot the photos in this gallery with a handheld Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom. All are as-is straight from the camera, with no post-processing applied -- except for four marked BR, whose brightness I adjusted. All the photos have been resized for online viewing.
