Henry Ford Museum 2 -- Historically Significant Race Cars, August 2008 ... Nikon D300

This gallery is the second in my series on the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. My two visits to this awesome institution in early August 2008 were my first since the 1980s. Sorely absent from the museum floor this time was the black 1966 Ford GT40 Mark II that won the 1966 Le Mans 24-hour race -- Ford's first triumph in this contest. ... The museum's Web address is http://www.thehenryford.org .

I took the photos here with a handheld Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom lens. All the images are as-is, straight from the camera, with no post-processing applied. However, I resized the pictures for online viewing.
