The Elegance at Hershey, Part 1 of 3, 1900-1919 Automobiles -- June 14, 2015

The Elegance at Hershey was held on the grounds of the Hotel Hershey for the fifth time on June 14, 2015. It was founded and launched in 2011 by Pennsylvania car collector John W. Rich, Sr., who unfortunately passed away in December 2011. As usual, several cars from his JWR Automobile Museum were exhibited this year.

Every running of this concours has attracted a strong turnout of fine cars and eager supporters, inspiring confidence that this show is here to stay as a major automotive event. Among the many distinguished attendees who have come every year are Bill Warner, founder and chairman of the Amelia Island Concours, and Sandra Button, chairman of the Pebble Beach Concours. I am pleased to share here some of the photos I took at this awesome gathering of outstanding automobiles. For more information, visit the event's Web site at http://theeleganceathershey.com/ .

This gallery is the first of three on the 2015 Elegance at Hershey. The cars featured here are from model years 1900 through 1919 -- the brass era. The awards won are shown in ALL CAPS.
