In April 2006, I was driving east from the Hamptons on Long Island when I saw the setting sun illuminating the Montauk Point Lighthouse a few miles away. I dashed toward this New York landmark and managed to get one handheld shot before the red light turned gray. ... Details about the other photos are in their captions.
