Amelia Island Concours de Sport -- Award Winners, March 2011

This gallery is my second of five on the 2011 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. The focus here is on the Concours de Sport component of this annual car show, as well as on the awards won by the exhibited race cars. Duesenberg, Allard and Kurtis were the featured marques. "Cars of Bobby Rahal" was a special category in the 2011 concours, of which Rahal was the honoree. For more information on this must-see Florida event, visit http://www.ameliaconcours.org .

I took all the race car photos here with a handheld Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom. All the photos have been resized for online viewing.
