Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance -- "Best in Class" Winners and 2nd Best, March 2011

Duesenberg, Allard and Kurtis were the featured marques in the 2011 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance held on March 13. There were 225 invited entries in this year's concours. Shown in this gallery are the cars that were awarded Best in Class honors (blue ribbons), as well as those that were given Amelia Awards for finishing second (red ribbons). All class awardees are accounted for here. The cars are presented in classes, which are arranged more or less in alphabetical order -- except for the Horseless Carriage and Vintage classes, which I placed in front. This gallery is my third of five on the 2011 concours held on Amelia Island in Florida. I took all the photos here with a handheld Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom.
